Our history
Our vision for the future?
Kepser operates in a market which is constantly evolving and changing. Machines are getting smarter all the time and the manufacturing industry is rapidly becoming digitalised. The concomitant integration of operational processes offers opportunities for chain partners to collaborate with each other and with clients. We want to exploit these opportunities as much as possible by continuing to innovate our engineering, production and logistic processes and permanently position ourselves as a front runner that matters.
2020
By 2020, we have 11,000 square metres of production floor at our premises in Cuijk and Kepser has close to 80 employees – driven, highly-skilled yet down-to-earth professionals who do more with metal. 2017
2017 is a year of major changes. We unexpectedly lose our director Chris Kepser who is succeeded by his daughter, Marloes Kepser. Together with her brother Harry, she is responsible for Kepser’s new image. 2011
In 2011, the business takes over Venrooy Cable Equipment which becomes part of the Kepser family. 2008
2008 is an important milestone: the 50th anniversary of the business. We celebrate this in a big way, with the ‘Kepser Pro-Metaal Days’. In the same year, we carry out a major expansion project and build a new production hall, increasing the total area of the premises to 10,000 square metres. 1985
In 1985, director Chris Kepser takes over from his father. Under his leadership, the business increasingly focuses on the production of modules and intermediate products for OEMs. Kepser Pro-Metaal grows into an all-round supplier, specialising in sheet metal work and associated profile work. 1983
In 1983, Kepser celebrates 25 years in business. By this time, we have become a specialist in steel construction and mechanical engineering. With 45 employees, Kepser produces platforms, stairways, trays, tanks and silos for a wide range of customers. 1977
In 1977 , we move premises. Kepser is unable to get a permit for further expansion in Sint Agatha and so we move to the ’t Riet industrial estate in Cuijck. Modern machinery is installed in the new building. 1968
In 1968, when Kepser is celebrating its ten-year anniversary, our business adds a second workshop and purchases additional machines. By then, the workforce has grown to 30. 1962
In 1962, Kepser expands for the first time. A workshop of 20 by 30 metres is built for the workforce which has now grown to ten. 1958
A rich historyOn 1 April 1958, Harry Kepser takes over the forge in Sint Agatha in North Brabant where he is working at the time with two other people. Under his leadership, the company, which until now has mainly concentrated on farriery and agricultural mechanisation, starts to produce steel constructions.
